Yes. Our youth interns often attend and assist with our catered events.

Youth Training Program FAQs

Youth are referred to our program in various ways.

Some are referred through their schools, through city programs, or through non-profit referral organizations such as The Front Porch. Parents can also reach out to Chef Jack directly to discuss enrolling their youth in our program.

We typically have 8 ‐ 10 youth in each training cohort.

Our program accepts youth 12 ‐ 18 years of age.

Our youth culinary training program is located inside A Seat At The Table Cafe.

Our upcoming Summer Youth Training Program is Monday ‐ Friday from 8am ‐ 1pm each day.

Group Culinary Classes FAQs

Yes. We offer both adult & youth group culinary classes.

Group culinary classes typically last from 2 ‐ 4 hours.

Our adult group classes are for 6 ‐ 10 adults per class.

Our youth group classes are for classroom‐size youth groups.

The cost of our adult group culinary classes is based on the desired menu and culinary experience for the group.

For youth group classes of 10 youth or less, we charge a minimum of $500.

For youth group classes of more than 10 youth, we charge a minimum of $1,000.

The total charge for a youth group culinary class will be based on a combination of our minimum youth group charges, the total number of youth planning to attend, and the culinary content taught.

The total charge for a youth group culinary class will cover the cost of all food, class materials, and our Chef's time.
